Confinement Nanny

I owuld like to check, those who had confinement nannies before, if the room has no space for a bed, is it ok for them to sleep on mattress? This is cause i currently have a toddler, so there may be some space constraints to ahve 2 cots in the room plus wardrobe etc. Any suggestions please? Thanks in advance
