Hello. I would like to ask how did you manage your fibroids without painkillers? My wife is pregnant at 19 weeks and her fibroid is starting to degenerate causing her too much pain. Our OBGYN prescribed allowed painkillers for pregnant but she is allergic to the meds given. She is experiencing distressing pain around pain scale 5-7. Please give us advice or maybe words of encouragement that the pain will just gone, even without pain relievers.

I’m sorry she’s going through that. ❤️ Fibroid degeneration pain can happen during pregnancy, but severe or persistent pain should be discussed again with her OB, especially since she can’t take the prescribed pain medicine. She can ask her OB about safe alternatives and try rest, hydration, and a comfortable position while waiting for advice. If she has fever, bleeding, worsening pain, contractions, or feels unwell, seek medical care right away.
