I just limited my four month old daughters pacifier time. Now she has started using her thumb. What should I do ?

Amputate. No, I'm just kidding. I think pacifier is still the lesser of two evils. Failing which, I would suggest mittens.

Use mitten and give pacifier. pacifier is easier to wean off than thumb.
