Maybe cut down a cup or two? About 400 mg of caffeine a day appears to be safe for most healthy adults, which is about 4 cups of brewed coffee. I was a heavy coffee drinker too but I have since cut back to about a cup a day and when I feel the urge for a caffeine fix, I turn to green tea instead.
I would not recommend more than a cup per day. That’s enough caffeine you need if you are preparing to get pregnant. It would be best to drink decaf and slowly stop taking it when you are pregnant. It would seem difficult at first, but you will slowly get used to not drinking it.

I'd say no more than one. But try decaf and maybe that'll help.
