There could be some spotting in the early stage of pregnancy when the embryo plants itself to the wall of the womb. Is there any pain or discomfort or bleeding like you’re having your period? These are not normal for pregnancy. 5 week pregnancy would be too early for a gynae to detect anything. You can still consult a gynae and check if you want. A miscarriage will still show you’re pregnant due to the hcg in your body. It will take weeks for your body to clear.

Hi thank you nope i didn't have any discomfort or pain. I just went out to the doctor just now and they said it's chemical pregnancy so i guess in other terms, miscarriage without any reasons being ruled out. They said my period suddenly came and i'll need to wait for weeks to try again to conceive. Anyway, thank u!
