Singaporean Mom going to give birth overseas. What will be the child's status?

I have asked the SG embassy in my current place overseas, and they do not help much and say that I can apply for the child's citizenship at ICA. BUT, subject to approval. What kind of requirements will they need as I am a Singaporean and we're legally married. Husband is not Singaporean. Have you heard of a similar situation?#pleaseadvise

Perhaps you can check with ICA and revert your QnA to them instead. It also depends on where you are residing in order to determine the citizenship of your kids.
