I know how scary it feels to get unexpected news at a scan, especially when everything looked fine before. Since the measurement came back below the 10th percentile, it is really important to just follow through with the amniocentesis as planned and have a detailed conversation with your gynae or fetal medicine specialist about what the finding means specifically for your baby. Sometimes one measurement alone does not tell the full picture, and the specialist will be the best person to interpret everything together with your NIPT results and scan history.
