Spotting during 7 week pregnancy

I am currently pregnant with my second baby, I am experiencing light pink to brown spotting for about 6 days now and I am exclusively breastfeeding on demand as well. How much (mg) of progesterone usually does a obstetrician prescribe?

Every pregnancy is different, so the decision on whether any medication is needed, and at what amount, is something only your doctor can determine after examining you and reviewing your bloodwork and scan.
