Hi all. I am currently 17 weeks pregnant and I have just gotten the flu bug recently and have been coughing pretty bad last few days. Already went to the doctor to get the proper medication as the cough was quite bad. Highest temperature I had was 37.9 degrees. Just wondering whether it can affect my baby as the thoughts keep lingering in my head. My next appointment is 3 weeks away.
i had covid at 14 weeks and had high fever, sore throat, running/block nose, cough. Baby is ok during my next checkup. if you are worried can go to a private gynae to check in the meantime.
