I contracted viral fever and while it has only been a day, I wonder if I should continue breastfeeding. Please advice.

Yes, it is safe to breastfeed your baby if you have a viral fever. Your illness will not transfer to your baby through breastmilk. Your milk contains antibodies. Through your milk, you give your baby immunities to illnesses to which you are immune and also those to which you have been exposed.
