Oh congrats on your pregnancy and being so on top of things! The Tdap (whooping cough, tetanus, diphtheria) jab is definitely worth taking seriously, it passes protective antibodies to your baby before birth, which is really important since newborns can't get vaccinated straight away and whooping cough can be quite dangerous for them. Someone in my mum group mentioned that in Singapore, government clinics actually offer it free between 28 to 32 weeks, so it's worth asking your SG gynae about that specifically rather than paying out of pocket in KL. Most doctors I've spoken to do encourage it for every pregnancy, not just the first, though I'll be honest, a few mums I know skipped it and felt guilty about it afterwards when they read more about whooping cough risks. On your GD repeat test question, absolutely just ask your SG doctor directly, urine sugar is not the same as the proper oral glucose tolerance test, so it's a completely reasonable request and a good one at that. That said, since you're juggling care between two countries, do double-check all of this with both your doctors so nothing gets duplicated or missed!
