Hi mama. I experienced something similar on my 1st pregnancy. Week 8 going to week 9 and I wanted to pee but I saw blood in my underwear. Was so afraid to walk and I was alone at home. With blood continously dripping down my leg. Scariest day of my life. I called 995 and paramedics loaded me gently in the trolley and sent me to kk. Paramedics used a doppler and could find 2 heartbeats still to comfort me. At kk emergency, doc forced me to pee in a bed pan as I was holding it in. I peed blood and they were worried. Did a cervix scan and found fetus still intact. Warded for 3 days and then 2 weeks of bedrest. It was called threatened miscarriage. My advice? Listen to doctor and take the duphastron they will prescribe to support the pregnancy. And try to rest more and don't walk too much in your first tri. My toddler is turning 2yo in 10 days now. Healthy and cheeky.

That's good. All the best to you for your scan.

I can hear how scary this must be, especially after the rush to KKH. But since your doctor has already seen baby on scan twice with a normal heartbeat and has told you to continue the duphaston, that's a good sign to follow his lead right now. That said, brown clots and vaginal cramping together still need proper checking out sooner rather than later, lah. Please call your O&G clinic and let them know what's happening these past few days instead of waiting till 12 weeks. Even if it's just to get reassurance or rule things out, it's worth a quick call or earlier visit given you're still bleeding. The fibroid and the duphaston are things only your doctor can properly piece together. Hang in there. Most times spotting in early pregnancy can be okay, but you deserve peace of mind sooner.
