Requesting HL in Public hospital

Hi all I am 34 weeks pregnant. I have a healthy pregnancy, but my body is really weak. My boss doesn’t like the concept of WFH even though my work can be done 100% from home. Travelling is really hard for me. I am on diet due to gestational diabetes, think that’s what’s making everything worse. Is it possible for me to request for an HL from my doctor? I have heard that in private hospitals they give, but not sure about public hospital. Please advise 🙏

It doesn’t matter private/gov hospitals, gynaes usually only approve HL if they think you need it. Try to speak to your gynae about your condition during next visit.

Thanks, I am planning to drag myself until 36 and then ask. I don’t feel comfortable that’s the issue. Last while week I was feeling dizzy, and when I tried to talk to my gyne she just ignored me saying it’s normal and changed the topic. If I can’t even talk about my concerns without being interrupted, how am I supposed explain to her my work concerns 😢
