Aww, I understand your worry! Honestly, induced labour can feel more intense because the contractions usually come faster and stronger compared to natural labour, so a few of us mummies who've been through it do say it feels more painful, but pain experience is so different for everyone lah, some of my friends managed fine with an epidural. Since you're being advised to induce at 37 weeks, there must be a medical reason your doc thinks it's safer for you and baby, so I'd really encourage you to have a proper chat with your doctor about what to expect, pain management options available, and why they're recommending it, that way you go in feeling more prepared and less anxious.
