Why don't both of you go for fertility testing together? You get checked up and so does be. Fair. That way your husband will not be too self conscious or it will not seem like he's to blame. Husband and wife are in it together and they should face the issue together as well.

I think you should just go ahead and gently tell him. But you should also go and get tested yourself. It's only fair and it would make it easier for your husband to hear that the both of you would undergo testing together. :)
