My husband is asking me to go on an 8km trail run with him in Rizal next month. Has anyone tried trail running? What skills/training do I need to know that I can complete it?

My cousin loves adventures and I think almost every week, he's running a trail race. Carry lots of fluids mommy! It's important to be hydrated. Boost your trail skill by having a warm up. Run for 10 mins and stretch your body before the trail run. You can also try doing workouts such as leg squats, pushups, dead lifts and calf raises to develop your foot and ankle strength. :)
