Umbilical stump care basics

Ay, ang umbilical stump care is super important talaga! You want to keep it dry and clean, we were told to use a clean, dry cloth when wiping around it, and avoid covering it with the diaper if possible so it gets air. A few of us in our mum group just let it air dry and didn't put anything on it unless the midwife recommended, pero if you're ever unsure kung normal pa ba yung appearance or kung may signs ng infection like redness or pus, definitely check with your OB or pediatrician na lang to be safe!
