Hay, fellow first-time mama! Honestly, the biggest empowerment for me was realizing na hindi ako kailangan maging perfect, kailangan ko lang maging present at willing to learn along the way. A few of us mommies talk about how we started trusting our instincts more, like when baby cries or when something feels off, you actually know what your baby needs even if you're not 100% sure yet, and that confidence grew with every day. For me, surrounding myself with my circle of mom friends who didn't judge every choice I made, whether breastfeeding struggles, bottle feeding, or sahm life versus work, that's what really helped me feel empowered to own my journey as a mom without the guilt. The Women's Month reminder was nice din, na as moms we're also allowed to be human, rest, and take care of ourselves, hindi lang anak, pati atin. You've got this, mama!
