What does subsidised vs private means?
How much will we save if its subsidised? Genuine question as I am a FTM and not sure on this thanks !

I've went for 1 consultation and 1 glucose resistance test at subsidized rate. you can see the differences from the bill. I will opt for subsidized one until 3rd trimester, then switch to private then ward A for delivery. If you've switched to private at later stage, but facing early delivery and know that ur baby will be warded in NICU, u still can downgrade to subsidized rate as the expenses in NICU could be crazy.

Subsidised - no choosing of rooms and gynaes, most of the time, after Medisave and MMP claims, you’ll probably still get back cash cheque. Private - can choose private wards and specific gynae. After Medisave deductions and MMP, you’ll need to fork out extra cash. Appointment wise would probably be faster.
