Wah $3K at 14 weeks is quite a bit already leh. I think it depends on whether you're going private or polyclinic route, and what tests the doctor recommended. My friend went private and racked up around $2.5K by second trimester with the detailed scans and blood tests, but she could have saved more if she switched to polyclinic for some of the routine visits after that. If you're private, just check with your OB what's really necessary versus optional tests so you can budget better for the rest of your pregnancy.
