Notice if there are any anti-crime efforts and projects in your barangay. Barangays which prioritize the area's safety most commonly have:
1. CCTV cameras in streets
2. Gates at each street
3. Visible and working street night light
4. Roaming task force preventing theft and other crimes at night (they're usually our good old tanod).
5. Strict implementation of night curfew
