Aiyah my friend also went through this with her boy, her paed at KKH advised to slowly introduce soft solids like porridge with small soft chunks, then gradually make it less mushy over a few weeks so the child gets used to chewing bit by bit. Someone in my mum WhatsApp group mentioned blending food slightly less smooth each time, so the texture changes are not so sudden and scary for the toddler. My neighbour also said her girl responded well when she made mealtimes fun, let the child touch and explore the food first before eating. But still best to check with your own PD or a speech therapist if it persists, because sometimes texture refusal at this age can have other reasons behind it!
