How do you discipline your toddlers?
I have researched an article about disciplining toddlers before and it basically notes about positive reinforcement and no to punishment whenever dealing with your little one. Say if your kid is fidgety, you can distract them instead of saying "Do not do this or that".
I agree with the first comment, and an additional to that we should be consistent in our way of disciplining them. Say for example, if we say No to their unrighteous acts or they want something that is not good we should be firm not to give in. It works for us :)
My toddler is 4.5yo now. I will talk firmly with him. Caning doesn't work for him. Important is to talk term and explain to him the reason why you are scolding him. Explain to him his actions and all. They will be able to understand better
Read moreI don't punish my child. however when he does something positive, I reinforce it and praise him for the action. for example, thank you for listening to me talk. and I try to ignore the negative behaviours.
