When did you introduce comfort blanket/toy/lovey to your baby?

And how did you introduce? Cos I read that not supposed to have loose items in the cot until baby is 1.. But I see babies with their comfort items younger than 1? Thanks

My daughter only started having her own comfort toy around 18m, before that she don’t really use or have any preference for a favourite toy/blanket to sleep. (I gave her the toy around 4m)

I gave her before 4 months old. A small lil bolster and she instantly love it. She now always have to to take deep whiff when she sleep hahaha. She co sleep with me so I am okay to give her
