Hi, is there any good phonics or reading class to recommend for a 5-year-old?

No particular class that i can recommend but u can try private tutors. Alternatively, you can try to get phonics books and teach yr child yrself instead if you have the time. You must ensure that the child is ibterested before introducing a teacher for him/her.

I also don't know any class, but my children learn using this website: Www.starfall.com It is interactive, fun and has some free games and stories. You need to be a member (yearly payment,i think) for full access.
