help naman po ano po gagawin para ma regulate sugar level ko po 28 weeks pregnant pero diabetic po ako yun po findings ko po. dana ma help noto po ako
Hello. I was also diagnosed na I have GDM, after nun Blood Sugar Monitoring using Glucometer (4x/day). Through that, I discovered ano nagtri-trigger ng blood sugar ko para tumaas. Usually sa white rice tumataas sugar ko and of course kapag nakainom ng mga sweetened drinks like juices, chocolate or soda. From that, nag-brown rice na ako, and kung di maiwasan mag-white rice, I always make sure na half cup lang kakainin ko. I always try my best din na umiwas sa matatamis na foods. Be careful din sa mga prutas kasi may prutas na mataas sa sugar, recommend fruits sa GDM ay citrus fruits lang. Na-traced na I have GDM thru OGTT, I was recommended to consult to an endocrinologist, ang advice lang ay monitor blood sugar to check what triggers my blood sugar. If manageable naman then walang magiging problem especially magiging strict sa diet.
