Help me, breastfeeding mummies! My 5 days old bb is refusing to latch. I had given in to top up fm while in the hospital cus I didn’t have much supply initially and I can’t latch him well (short nipples as told by LC) and he kept crying. So after coming home I started to pump out and bottle feed. Now I have the supply but he doesn’t want to latch at all. Once he suckle a few times he will start to cry already. Is there any way to make him latch now?
I really hope to direct latch in the long run instead of pumping. Please help!
