brain training lesson

Have you send your older child to brain training class when they were younger? Do they learn better(in pri sch) and remember their spelling easier? At which age did you send your child to brain training class and for how long?

I teach my 4yo spelling at home by using a combination of phonics and memory, with aids like picture cards and books. She is definitely finding it easier now than a couple of months ago.

Yes, definitely:) the difficulty with English is that many letters have multiple sounds, but I teach the common stuff first, then tell her the exceptions and special words, or words with 2 pronunciations.
