Better to choose preschool nearby or a bit further with better curriculum?

Have enrolled in the preschool with a better curriculum and found that it's a bit far for everyday commute. In case of emergency, it's harder for grandparents to fetch the kid. So it'll solely rely on my husband and myself. How do parents choose preschool? What's your criteria?
