Amniocentesis
Have anyone go for this procedure ?

Yes, quite a few mums I know have gone through it! From what they've shared, most found it much less scary than expected, uncomfortable rather than painful, and the whole thing is over quite quickly. A friend went to KKH and said it felt like a sore crampy sensation when they withdrew the fluid, but nothing she couldn't handle, and no bleeding or major cramping after. The key thing people mention is that the anticipation is often worse than the actual experience, so try not to stress too much beforehand. That said, it's definitely worth having a detailed chat with your own doctor or specialist about what to expect based on your specific situation, and asking all your questions before the day itself.

Hopefully some mamas who have been through it can share their experiences. From what I've heard, the procedure itself is usually quite quick, and many mums say it was less painful than they expected, though understandably nerve-wracking. Sending you lots of positive thoughts, mama. ❤️ Hope everything goes smoothly and you get reassuring results. 🙏🏻
