the little ones program

Has any asian mum tried the little ones program? Did it work and did it not? I'm interested getting the ultimate mainly to learn about baby night habits, psychology and stuff like that. But I am curious to know if I could learn to settle baby without use of equipment like white noise machine or keep baby cool in aircon (my preference is fan only), or weighted swaddle. TIA
