Honestly, waiting past due date is such a tiring feeling, my friend went all the way to 41 weeks with her second baby before anything happened, and the hospital here usually lets you go up to that point before they talk about induction. When she finally went in for monitoring, the doctor put on the CTG to check baby's heartbeat and then started with Prostin to help things along; a few mums I know mentioned it took a few rounds, so it's really just taking it step by step. The good news is sometimes the waiting itself can surprise you, some second babies just decide to come when they're ready, sometimes with barely any warning signs beforehand!
