Haih, congrats on the newborn! Honestly, I'd pack extra diapers and wipes than you think you need because kadang-kadang kampung shops tak ada your preferred brand, then you'll kena stress lah. A few of us also always bring a small portable changing mat, spare outfits for baby (accidents happen!), any medicines or ointments your baby might need, and your own pillows/bedding if staying with in-laws because beza la comfort level, especially if you're still recovering. Oh, and if you're still figuring out feeding, bring a bottle steriliser or at least some sterilising tablets just in case, makes life easier when you're adjusting to a new environment. The journey itself, make sure baby's dressed comfortably and you time it around feed times if possible!
