Hai mommies 🥰 Last week suddenly keputihan bertukar jadi warna kuning and saya nekad untuk buat test sama ada positive GBS atau tidak, jadi saya buat dekat clinic private sebab kalau KK, result within 2 weeks baru dapat jadi takut dah ter bersalin.Keputihan yang keluar sikit sangat everyday tapi masa buat test Dr kata kat dalam agak heavy, dia tak keluar.Turn out GBS result Positive and lost words bila baca banyak cerita-cerita yang risaukan hati as a GBS Carrier.Dekat dalam ni ada ke yang previously GBS carrier or currenly GBS carrier untuk bagi tips tenangkan fikiran ni? 😣 Saya plan nak bersalin di Hospital Putrajaya. #Needadvice #GBScarrier

Aww mama, I totally understand the worry lah, I remember when one of my mum friends got her GBS result, she was so stressed reading all those stories online! But honestly the good news is, once the hospital knows you're a carrier, they'll just give you antibiotics during labour and that's it, baby will be fine. The thing is, most babies born to GBS moms are completely okay, so try not to spiral reading those scary posts (easier said than done, I know!). Since you're delivering at Hospital Putrajaya, just make sure you tell them at admission that you're GBS positive so they can start the IV antibiotics early, and they know what to do from there. Maybe chat with your doctor there closer to your due date to confirm their protocol so you feel more prepared and less anxious?
