Soapy smell thawed breastmilk? Is it normal?

Hi mommy! Thawed or frozen breastmilk really smells a little off than the fresh one. Based on my experience with my son and with the parenting seminar I attended, the soapy scent and taste in frozen breastmilk is caused by lipase but won't harm our babies. Make sure you defrost and warm the milk properly before giving to your LO. The only challenge I had with thawed breastmilk was when my son refused to drink it because of the taste but he eventually learn to drink it as well.
