Good or bad to buy a playhouse for toddler?

If you have enough space especially outdoor space I would totally encourage a playhouse. The majority of the toys that our children play with today are indoor toys. Kids spend a good amount of their time each day inside the house or school playing, studying and doing extracurricular activities. Especially with the advent of computer/mobile phone games. An outdoor playhouse is a great motivator for kids to get out of the house and play in an open environment. Outdoor play develops physical, social and cognitive skills in children and allows them to become happier, calmer and more self-disciplined people.
Read moreIf you have the space, sure why not? Personally, I would not have a playhouse in an apartment -- clutters up the space, collecting dust which could just add to the "pollution" at home. To me, playhouses are awesome to have in the backyard or garden -- which most of us living in Singapore do not have. Why not make one of those indoor forts from blankets, chairs and cushions. You can make them whenever the kids want to play in one and then diassemble it when they are done.
Read moreKids love playhouse. It's like their own space. I made one with my kids out of Cardboards. It's foldable so I can put it aside once they are done. I paste whiteboard around the playhouse and a sign too. So they can pretend it's a cafe or shop.
It depends on ur space area at home. I had a playhouse and my toddlers love playing with it. Children have a vast imagination and could entertain themselves with the playhouse. If u have the space and money to spare, y not?
