Breech position

Going 37weeks n bby is still breech. Gynae mention unlikely for bby to turn downwards n hv recommend for a schedule c section. First pregnancy. What should i do? Any c section mummies out there to help me thru. On what going to happen before n aft surgery. Also on the recovery. Read that u can't hold ur baby for atleast a month?
