Just wondering

FTM here ~ just wondering anyone staying with family members (be it from husband side or your side) and their comments / questions irks you? LO currently 1 month old plus. I’m currently staying with husband grandmother (LO great grandma). Most of the days in laws will come n help out too. Very very grateful n feel fortunate to have some help. But I just dun know why - when LO makes any noise, husband grandma will shake LO and tell her not to be angry, or that when LO fidgets a little, she will immediately carry her. I repeatedly told her to leave LO be unless she cries, as it’s their form of communication/they may be in light sleep mode and it’s normal but grandma keeps forgetting (due to old age also). I feel bad also if I keep complaining about how the older generation handle. I can’t wait for our BTO to arrive which is 2 more years, but I dun feel like staying at home due to such situation.. I will always find reason to bring LO out for a while to be away from home..

Sigh, what to do? Can your husband talk some senses into his grandma?
