Ah sis, normal talaga yan, lalo na sa first few weeks! Some babies get a bit red or irritated around the mouth, chin, or cheeks from the milk or saliva, especially kung sensitive ang skin nila or if there's a bit of friction during feeding. A few of us moms noticed din na mas obvious ang redness kapag sobrang init or kung naka-swaddle sila ng matagal without changing position. Just make sure to gently pat dry after feeds and let the area breathe a bit, pwede ring mag-apply ng lanolin or a safe moisturizer if it looks uncomfortable. But if it's spreading, looks infected, or the baby seems uncomfortable, better check with your pediatrician para sure, especially since first time ka pa lang talaga. You're doing great, by the way!
