How much should a 3 week old drink

#firsttimemom Hi there, ftm here. My 3 week old is constantly waking up and asking for milk. He is on full FM and drinks about 800mls a day. Is that enough or too much for a 3 week old?

Baby should feed minimum weight * 120 / 8 = (ml) Or maximum amount of weight *150 / 8 =(ml) Example baby is 4kg * 120 / 8= 60ml is minimum 4kg * 150/8= 75ml is maximum baby should drink to prevent overfeeding issue. Baby have normal reflex of sucking and showing hunger cues instead so many new parents overfed their babies.

you should feed as much as he needs. he will know when to stop when full. some babies have higher milk needs, some lower. so it differs greatly
