How does labour contraction feels like? Where does it normally begin?

Slight cramp the day before (4am, 1pm and 4pm).. Waterbag broke at 2am, contraction started at 2.30am.. Feels like menstrual cramp but stronger. 1min with 5mins interval, head down to hospital at 7.30am with 4cm dilation, gave birth at 5pm
