Sore nipples

Hi first time mum who has a 3 week old here :) Is it by default that our nipples will be slightly sore if we choose to breastfeed / pump? My nipples are always painful when it touches my bra or clothing. It is also tender to touch but it’s not cracked. I wonder if this is something I have to accept and bear with if I breastfeed / pump? Or am I latching wrongly or perhaps being too sensitive? 😢 #firsttimemom #help

Coz your nipple is not "season" yet. Please try pigeon natural feel nipple shield and your nipples will thank you later. U can wear for latching if u have inverted nipples or u really feel that ur nipples are very sore. I usually wear it after breast feed and put on my normal bra to minimize discomfort from the clothing.

Sorry,I only saw your reply now..I didn't latch on my baby.U can use it to latch on if ur nipples are very sore. So did the nipple shield works for u?
