Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding tips

Hi fellow moms! I just had my baby via cesarean 4 days ago and am currently still having colostrum. For medical reasons, she was not brought to me after delivery and I was only able to attempt breastfeeding on the 3rd day. My baby has no issues with latching but she gets very frustrated because she is not able to get the milk flow compared to bottle feeding so she always end up crying after 1-2 tries sucking while swinging her hands around (I think attempting to push my breasts for more milk). Are there any tips to help with this? Feels so helpless that my milk is not flowing quickly enough to keep baby happily fed and have to top up via bottle and minimally pumped colostrum. #1stimemom #advicepls #firstbaby
