Experiencing our children’s growth is a blend of emotions. As a mother, I always wish that I could stop time to preserve my moments with my princess.

Alas, she needs to grow up and live her own life. One day, she may not smile and laugh as often as she does now. She will eventually meet with the pain that will also mould her into the woman she is destined to be.

So just for these brief moments, I choose to revel in the wonderment on her face and choose to believe that time _will_ wait for us.

And one day when I’m old and I begin to forget, I pray that I never forget these moments with her. For I may never earn any paradise beyond my darling; but that is all the paradise I need.
