I suggest better pa rin po na macheck ang bata para malaman kung may GDD. Yun anak ko pong si Ethan na diagnose po sya with autism at the age of 1 year and 8 months. Si Ethan po ay pinanganak ko po sa New Zealand. As early as 8 months po nakikita ko na po sya ng mga signs like no eye contact, non-verbal, madalas ang tantrums. Better po ma-check po ang bata ng mas maaga. Para macheck kung ano pong spectrum ang bata.

Mga mommy my baby is already 1 year and eight months and he has speech delay. He always pull my hand if he want something. How can I teach him to say what he wants and what toys can help him to learn how to speak? Thank you for your answers in advance.#advicepls

Hi Parent! It takes patience to teach a child. Learning is also a long process, though we may say there are children who can really grasp things faster, but this shouldn't be a reason to compare our children to others who do better. As long as you see your child saying words and phrases at his age, continue to interact with him and introduce him to some instructions that are only expressed in phrases and not in long statements.

Paano naman po anak ko, delayed speech at age of 9 :( Mag 9 yrs old na po sya ngayong buwan. Pero hirap pa po syang magsalita. Delayed po talaga siya. Akala namin na-o-outgrow na niya pero biglang nadelay ulit. Ano po dapat naming gawin?

I suggest po to consult a developmental pedia. Normally po bibiyan sya po ng program kung ano po pwede para ma improve po yun speech. Kaya lang po medyo matagal po ang pa-book sa developmental pedia.

2 years old na si LO alam nya ung alphabets numbers sounds mama daddy ate yan mga sinasabi nya na kaso di clear ung speech nya. May temper tantrums din sya pag naiinip or minsan from sleep nagigising. Normal po kaya un?

depende po ito sa program ng bata. iba-iba po ang kanila style kung pano po sila matuto. Napatingnan nyo na po ba sa developmental pedia?
