My toddler was quite similar around that age too. He really disliked touching slimy or squishy textures and it affected some foods as well. What helped us was lots of gentle exposure without forcing. We started with small amounts and made it part of play regularly, like playdough, kinetic sand, foam, finger painting, even helping with baking. Sometimes I would touch it first and play together with him so he felt safer. Over time he became much more comfortable. If it’s affecting eating too, you can also try introducing different food textures gradually rather than all at once. 😊
