Does mosquito bands really help? And can they be worn by adults too?

I don't know about kids but I've tried those mosquito bands and in my opinion, they do not work. I wore one during a camping trip and I was still feasted on by mosquitos. Normal insect repellant worked better. But mosquito patches do seem to work for kids (and adults, I've recently tried it) and my favourite brand is Tiger Balm.

not really....it did help my elder one for a while but she wasn't really playing in a very dense area and that too not in the dark. also, the smell that these bands give out, I mean the fragrance, is quite strong, and is not good when it constantly reaches ur kids too
