Prenatal vitamins?

My doc only told me to take folic acid, did not mention anything about prenatal vitamins. Is it ok if I take prenatal vitamins anyway? #firstmom

Hi babe, my doc only instructed to take folic acid during first tri too. But being kiasu, I asked what else I could take. He recommended these off the shelf products - 21st century prenatal vitamins, Neurogain fish oil and Caltrate calcium pills. Hope this helps :)
