Hi does 6 weeks pregnancy scan be able to see baby's heartbeat?

Did a scan but could not see the flickering. Is it too early ? Had some spotting when I woke up this morning.

Mine’s at 6w4d and it took a while for my gynae to find it. He almost gave up so it might be still too early to hear a heartbeat!
