I didn't try it when I was breastfeeding but I have heard it works. It also depends on the mum - what is a booster for some mums may be a killer for others. The best thing to do is try out different types of known boosters, like virgin coconut oil, salmon, durian etc and see what works the best for you.

I did take when I was breastfeeding but it didnt really work for my supply. Not sure about side effects but my baby was ok. Organic coconut oil was my milk booster.
